The Information Technology Department provides technology leadership, services and system support for all Academy District Twenty Schools, departments and facilities. We value the commitment to technology that the community and Board of Education provide. With the continued support and collaboration we are certain that we will continue to provide the most up-to-date technological resources throughout the district. Information Technology is divided into four key sections: Application and Data Services, Support Services, Educational Services and Web Services.

Application and Data Services (ADS): Configure, develop and maintain all district-wide software applications to include: 1) Oracle E-business suite 2) Infinite Campus Student system 3) Custom software development and reporting solutions. The ADS department is also responsible for the generation and delivery of State and Federal reports.

Support Services (SS): Implement, deploy and support all district-wide hardware applications to include: 1) Phone and voicemail system 2) PC and hardware repair 3) LAN/WAN support 3) Web filter 4) Email 5) Centralized patch management. We are pleased to announce that we now have a staffed helpdesk that is available from 6 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Educational Services (ES): Leadership, support and training to district schools in integrating 21st century learning skills including information literacy and technology into the standards-based curriculum. Maintain and provide access and training for educational technology and library resources including the TLC Library Solution online catalog, Thompson Gale electronic databases, Worldbook Online, Unitedstreaming, Learning Services professional library, District Video Library and the District 20 Broadcast Studio.

Web Services (WS): Develop and support updates to the intranet and internet websites. Provide training and guidance to schools and other functional departments. Many district web applications such as online student enrollment, 20Alert and the online applicant system are managed by this group.
